je n'aurais donc qu'une seul et unique question :
---c'est quoi la marque de gratte d'Ani--- je trouve que sa gratte fait un "putain" de son et donc si vous voudriez bien donner reponse a cette question qui me tracasse depuis que Render repose sur mon -bouda- tel une relique sacrée...

Alvarez / Yairi modèle WY 1 pour les premiere en tout cas ... maintenant elle en à 6 ou 7  donc bon... ya plus (pas) que des alvarez

G reussi à en trouver une pour un pote ya 5 ans (a clermont-ferrand) une DY 74 avec pre-amp et une pour moi rue de Douai ya 3 ans DY 74 acoustique avec capteur rajouté... Les 2 sont de 1992, parce qu'en fait elles n'étaient plus commercialisées en france depuis une dizaine d'années. Elles le sont redevenues cette année... Mais elles sont pas données... Les occaz sont rare mais valent le coup pour 450/600 ? t'as une gratte qui tue, parce que déjà en acoustique pure ça sonne trop bien... (g pas d'ampli...) Mais neuf... j'ose pas regarder |

je crois que c celle là... enfin j'suis sûr même c la gratte Aniesque de base, la WY1 ALVAREZ/YAIRI... par contre si quelqu'un c ce que c que son espèce de basse bidouillée (la 4 cordes sur Angry Anymore entre autres) je suis preneur...

C'est un modele Gibson cromwell Tenor, une guitare vintage des années 40, j'ai du mal à etre sure du modele precis (j'ai plus l'image exacte en tete), mais à priori c'est ça

DiFranco plays a larger Yairi model in the studio. Lately she records by placing two mikes in front of the guitar, one at the lower body and one near the neck. She hangs a blanket to separate the two. She also runs a direct line either to the board or to an amp, such as a small Silvertone or (believe it or not) a Marshall stack, which she used for some cuts on Not A Pretty Girl. She prefers older tube mikes and used a '60s Poltek tube equalizer on much of her last album to "fatten up" her guitar sound.
Another key tool in DiFranco's gearbox is a set of Nailene brand "action length" fashion nails, which she glues to her right-hand nails and reinforces with electrical tape. "They're indestructible! It's amazing," she says.
DiFranco uses D'Addario medium strings, which she changes for each show; a Shubb capo, which she uses on roughly half her songs ("They invariably end up on the floor and some fan steals them as a memento," she says); and large, triangular, heavy Fender picks. "I break the picks in half when I'm playing, I thrash so much," she says. "There must be a need for really obnoxious players like me to have even thicker-gauge picks that are really big. It has to be big and thick, or it doesn't feel right!" she says, with a laugh.

"I'm an old beater-instrument slut," she says in reference to the funky tenor guitar that appears on "Half a Ghost Town," accompanied by a background track of her Alvarez run through a Silvertone amp "with the tremolo turned up to ten." Other instruments she played on the album include a '30 National, a Hammond B-3 organ, and a Wurlitzer piano.

The collection includes four Alvarez-Yairi WY1s, the Bob Weir signature models that DiFranco has made her own signature. Because she attacks her guitars with a right hand bolstered by heavy plastic nails wrapped in electrical tape, she protects the beleaguered tops with an ever-expanding Batman-shaped pickguard. For deeper tones, DiFranco turns to an Alvarez AV2SB acoustic baritone (a model no longer in production) and a Danelectro electric baritone, tuned down to C. A four-string Cromwell tenor guitar gets the call for "To the Teeth" and other songs. She also picks a Martin Backpacker and two regular electrics: a Hamer and a Danelectro.
All these instruments are strung with D?Addarios: for the WY1s, she uses the EJ17 set (.013?.056), except one guitar is equipped with a .070 bass string for mega-detuning (to A, an octave below the fifth string) on the song "Dilate." The electrics get an EJ22 set (also .013?.056), while the tenor (tuned A D A D) has a surprisingly heavy .016, .024, .035, and .045 set. For capoing, she uses a Shubb.
DiFranco?s main Alvarez-Yairis are amplified with Alvarez? stock System 500 pickup and preamp. The Backpacker is wired with a Fishman Matrix under-saddle pickup, and the Cromwell has a Fishman archtop pickup, which replaces the bridge. She goes wireless for the most part, through the Samson UF5D system. One of the sends coming out of the monitor console goes to a Morley Steve Vai wah pedal, the other to a volume pedal, and both plug into a little Crate VC508 amp that she overdrives on some songs. "Then we mic that," says guitar tech Reg Dickinson, "so you get a blended sound between acoustic guitar and distorted acoustic guitar, and it?s a helluva sound." The electrics plug into a Rivera Sedona amp, which is miked and run direct from the effects loop.

Reilly strings DiFranco?s guitars with a variety of strings, depending on the model and tuning. The basics include D?Addario phosphor-bronze lights (EJ-16) or mediums (EJ-17). Reilly notes, ?The other two strings in regular use are phosphor-bronze .059 and .070. Occasionally I will use a slightly heavier gauge to handle some of the low tunings.?
DiFranco?s signature and Bob Weir model guitars have 600T MkII preamps, the AV2SB baritone has the older 500T preamp, and the hybrid baritone has a Fishman or Highlander pickup with no external preamp. In live shows, DiFranco?s guitars go through Samson UT-5 wireless transmitters to Samson UR-5D receivers, then to the monitor console, where each has a dedicated EQ, and to DiFranco?s pedalboard (with a ProCo four-in/four-out DI, two volume pedals from Morley and Ernie Ball, and a Morley Bad Horsie Wah). The volume pedals give her control over her amps, an Ampeg SJ-12T and a Rivera Sedona 15, which are miked and sent back to the monitor and house consoles.
Reilly says DiFranco?s monitor engineer, Sean Giblin, has level and EQ control over the guitars, amps, and wah-wah signal. ?Sean and Ani work for quite a while, comprehensively, each day to get her the sound and feel she needs.?

Ben vi merci beaucoup sofff et bienvenue...
Je crois qu'il y a tout ce qu'il faut savoir sur tes liens... tuning tout ça nickel...
D'ailleurs juste comme ça. Sur les boot officiel, il ya des chiffres de 1 a 6 a côté des morceaux... Je me demande si ct pas les numéros de guitares ?

Sinon je sors de "Rome Instruments" rue de Rome donc... à 100/150 metres au dessus de la gare st-lazare et ils ont des Alvarez / Yairi nouvelle mouture de 2003. Elles sont d'ailleurs ré-importées en France depuis 2004. Il y'en à une à 2100? et une à 1900? g presque pas osé poser mes sales pattes dessus. Sinon il y'a aussi une Alvarez, c la même sauf qu'elle est fabriquée en Corée au lieu du Japon, les coréens étant exploité, elle coute 840? et le mec m'a laisser entendre qu'il pouvait me faire 10 % ... bref elles sont terrible, mais la mienne me suffit amplement la signature en haut du manche n'est plus la même... mais le son est toujours au rendez-vous, la classe... avis aux amateurs fortunés...
